Day 1 of Blogging!

Hello friends and family!

As our life together becomes more and more exciting...and detailed...I thought I should probably go ahead and join the blogging world.

Garrett is in his Junior (2nd) Trimester of PA school at Fort Sam Houston. His schedule is nothing short of laborious. He has 10 hours of school every day, anywhere between 2-3 tests per week, and each of those tests is basically either a "midterm" or "final" for each class. He's doing a fantastic job, but he is certainly looking forward to some time off!

I am currently a Real Estate agent in San Antonio, but will soon begin tutoring and substitute teaching. I have also decided to sell Mary Kay!! I'm really excited about this and look forward to seeing how it plays out. I have also been given a unique and wonderful opportunity to help lead worship at Oak Hills Church. We have really been blessed by that congregation and all that they are involved in. In my most recent bible study, we used Priscilla Shirer's 'One in a Million'. It was truly an incredible and life changing study. I highly encourage anyone and everyone to do it! It's amazing to me how God brings the right people and products to help us at just the right time. We are so blessed.

As I type, I am in the hospital with Rebecca- my 8 year old niece. As everyone knows, she has been battling with pancreatitis and it's effects since the last weekend in May. This week, she had another surgery to replace her pancreatic stint and is doing well---considering.  Our big praise for this week is that HER BLOOD CLOT IS GONE!!! Praise the Lord! Please keep praying for her continued and full recovery. We claim and believe it as a body of believers in Jesus' name!

We had a great weekend with Mom and Dad Latham and Dad Russell, Stuart, Nanny, and Granddad. We were all so proud to see Stuart as Officer of the Day for the Tech game....I'm SURE that's why we won! This week we had the pleasure of seeing Mom and Dad Russell, and of course, we always love getting to see the entire Taylor clan! We're thankful to be so close to family for our first year of marriage and Army life!

That's good for now....We love you all dearly! Thank you for your continued support and prayers! God bless you today and always....EB & G
